Udai Pratap College is a historic autonomous college on a 100-acre campus in north-west Varanasi, founded in 1909 by Rajarshi Udai Pratap Singh Judeo. Describing itself as the most popular higher-education centre of eastern U.P., it teaches undergraduate, postgraduate, vocational and doctoral programmes across arts, science, commerce, agriculture and education, with DBT Star College recognition in the sciences and a storied sporting tradition.

Founded as Udai Pratap Kshatriya College with the Rajarshi's vision of self-reliant, character-building education, the campus grew into one of eastern Uttar Pradesh's most consequential college ecosystems. It holds UGC autonomous status — most recently extended to 2032–33 — under affiliation to Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, and is famous for producing sportspersons, soldiers and civil servants alongside scholars.
